Worship with us

Worship is not so much about what we do for God, but about God’s doing in us.  Follow along as you’d like, ask your neighbor for help, take a break, pray quietly, make yourself at home. Join us after each service for coffee and refreshments.

8:30am – This is a more formal, some would say “traditional” worship service, similar to what you might experience in Episcopal or Catholic churches. Singing is accompanied by organ, piano and choir with lovely solo pieces. Many of our texts, rituals and music go back to the early church and are rich in meaning, while we always incorporate creative new settings that address today’s world. See this week's bulletin.

1045am – This is a less formal, some would say “contemporary” worship service. Our dress is more casual. We always begin with lively songs of praise, and feature music from modern Protestant, Catholic, and world settings. The St Luke band leads the service, accompanied by piano and drums. During the Holy Communion part of the service, we gather around the altar in a circle to experience the intimacy of God’s Spirit making us one body together with Christ. See this week's bulletin.

9:45amA time of learning for all ages – connecting worship with an opportunity for conversation. Children meet on the upper level of the 2 story building next to the playground. Adults gather around in the fellowship hall to discuss various issues related to faith and life. Learn more about current studies under “Learning.”
