Join us this Sunday as we gather for the Third Sunday after Pentecost and hear Jesus’ call to compassionate discipleship. In Matthew 9:35—10:8 [9–23], Jesus is moved with compassion for the crowds, seeing their needs and longing for hope. He then commissions the disciples, sending them out to share God’s love through healing, service, and the proclamation of the good news. As we reflect on this gospel, we are reminded that Christ continues to call ordinary people into extraordinary ministry, equipping us to be bearers of grace, mercy, and hope in the world. Come worship with your St. Luke family in prayer, song, and reflection as we celebrate God’s abundant compassion and our shared calling to serve our neighbors in Christ’s name.
